Participants were invited to select a piece of gum from a numbered bucket.  Each numbered bucket contained a different color of gum.  There was a grid of numbers on the installation, and the participants were instructed to them stick their gum onto the corresponding number on the board. Over 1000 participants were involved in creating this paint-by-numbers gum experiment.
